What is shown in the competitive overview tab?

The competitive overview tab provides summary of patient assignees and a timeline of events to deliver competitive intelligence. The upper left window in the tab displays the IP-GeoScape's name, as well as the number of patent families, assignees, and exemplified and literature molecules that appear.

The top of the screen displays a bar graph with assignees and the number of patents they have. On the left side of the screen, you’ll see another bar graph showing the interest in the target has changed by year. The middle window shows the intersection of the timeline and the assignees. You can use this grid to better understand when an assignee was active with the target of interest. For example, you may find that a company has the most patents but has not been active in the space for many years. Conversely, a competitor may have few patents in the area, but has been recently exploring the space.
