What do the colors mean in the landscape?

The marker colors depend upon the “Color by” option selected from the dropdown list at the bottom of the screen to the left of the filters. Selecting different “Color by” options will change aspects of the landscape as well as the data table below the landscape. They can be colored by Assignee, Bioactivity, or other included properties; these are dependent on the data source. 

The legend to the left of the landscape indicates the color scheme. The “Color by” options may include:

• Assignee view, which colors molecules based on patent owner and/or literature
• Bioactivity view, which colors molecules based on bioactivity
• Rule5Violations, which colors molecules based on total rule of five violations
• Individual properties (e.g. MW, LogP, etc.), which color molecules based on those individual properties
